Based on the 10th anniversary model, the sarado width has been slightly narrowed and the R adjusted, with MLGS installed on the rim. The edge where the string makes contact is rounded to reduce friction.
The spike has been thickened, considering compatibility with tamas from other brands on the market, and features the new CORE shape that offers a snug fit for a sarado that won't easily come loose.
This is the first time in JAC history that the ken has a string hole.
The ken's middle cup features a purple heart LID CUP.
MICRO LINE GRIP SYSTEM
A special specification where 0.1mm fingerprint-like irregularities cover the surface, increasing the frictional resistance of the wood itself.
It grips well when moistened with breath or hand sweat.
LID CUP
This specification involves covering the hole in the middle cup with a thin wooden lid.
It serves to adjust the weight balance and visual appearance of the ken.
